The Yappy Squad!

These are our stinking dogs. Ferris pretty much can't stand them. They bark like crazy anytime anyone knocks...or when the kids get up in the morning...or any other time for no apparent reason. Ferris wants to chuck them most of the time, yet they love him and he is pretty cute with them when no one is looking. (I know he will grumble when he even sees this picture though!)

When our kids ask for anything now, we have come up with a question to ask ourselves: "Does it make it's own pooh?" If the answer to that is yes then we will not be getting that thing. Wicket is a bully, and Kyrie is an ankle-biter. And Kyrie thinks she is the little mother hen to the baby. She just wants to love him! She will sit by the bassinet when she hears him stirring and whine and try to see him. It is cute, but still kind of pesky...who really wants a little ragga-muffin dog licking their baby's head?!

Kyrie was my attempt to get another girl around her. Her full papered name is Princess Kyrie Fiferson. =) (Long story, and Tara helped with the name) I bought her a cute pink collar (which we can't find) and a cute pink blanket. So the boys think that I am not the only girl around here. Somehow I don't feel better!

Blog retard

It's true...I am a blog retard. I totally couldn't figure out how to find this! I was on my gmail account looking all over! I still am not quite sure how to find it easily...I clicked on the help stuff and then something about blogs, and it pulled it right up for me. I am sure there is an easier way of doing it though.

On June 3rd we welcomed our 4th boy! After much debate we named him Small-fry Smith. He was 7 lbs 10 oz. I am already completely addicted to him!! I just want to sit and hold him all day every day. That doesn't work so well with the other 3 on the loose though. The baby doesn't even flinch when I have to yell at Spider Man to stop picking on Bear, or yell at Bear to stop picking on Smiley. (our family is the perfect example of how crap rolls downhill.) Poor little Smiley!

Small-fry is so very sweet. We had him home for almost two weeks when Bear finally asked, "Mom, when are we going to get to hear him cry?" Love it! He is already growing like crazy so that he can keep up with the other boys. I took him to his two week appointment yesterday and he was at 8 lbs 9 oz. So next time you check this blog, he should be about 3 feet tall! I already want him to slow down and he is only 2 weeks old!

Thoughts on Blogs

Lately anytime someone wants me to see a picture, they tell me to check out their blog. I don't do blogs. I don't check the regularly...in fact, I never check them unless you send me the link while I am really bored. I know...I am a jerk. I think I was absent the day they pulled everyone aside and told them how to do the whole blog thing. So since I am turning the big 30 this week, I figured I would try to hang onto what youth I had left by getting current on the latest trends. (I got an iPod WAY after it was cool in the same attempt.)

I must say though, blogs are kind of a weird idea. The thought that anyone can get on here and read it is a little unnerving to me. I like to know who my audience is! Ferris just came in and asked what I was doing and I wouldn't tell him. So I am writing this thing that I don't even want my husband to read...off to a great start! I feel like I am in grade school again when you totally cup your hand around your answer that you are writing on your paper so as to hide it from any prying eyes!

Anyway, welcome to our madness!
