We blessed our sweet little Small-fry on the 29th of June. My brother and his wife were able to be here from out of town, so we chose to do it then. Secretly, I am always a bit relieved when we do it on a day that isn't fast Sunday, because then I don't really have to get up and say anything. I was thinking that the guilt of that would get me the next week, but then Joel woke up feeling like crap and we didn't make it to Sacrament Meeting. (Ah nuts...still not getting up then!)Where is that little un-written rule that you have to feed everyone after the blessing? Not to be unfriendly, but if there is a next time...everyone bring your own food that you can eat in your car on the way home...because I am not doing it again! I was chopping chicken the night before at like 11:30, while my tiny baby is sleeping away. I was just thinking of how messed up it was that I was doing that, when I really should just be sleeping! So next time (big "IF") we will be serving Tic Tacs and water. Enjoy!!
